Electronic Dance Music

That is excellent.

I heard this on Insta a few weeks ago, but I didn’t follow up on it so didn’t know what the track was.

It popped into my YT feed. Hadn’t heard it before. I don’t mind it.

@Klawdy is this what popped into your feed?

Nah not that one. It was a lady walking to the track as an air hostess from different nationalities. It sounds pretty mundane, but her timing was bang on.

This sets been on high rotation lalety.

I only saw this thread pop up for the first time the other day - electronic music really is a diverse form of music.

Electronic music has been my default form of music for the past few decades. Lately I’ve been enjoying taking my 6 year old through Daft Punk records - gives me much pride when he says he wants to see Daft Punk one day (if only) and can identify the songs on Discovery (one of the best albums of all time).

Anyway, I’ve been in a real Fred again.. phase lately. Last night I downed a couple of whiskies and watched his new years set in Dublin on Apple TV - epic. Highly recommend.

But what I really care in here to post was his Tiny Desk set from a couple of years ago. For me, it is one of the most emotional pieces of music I’ve ever heard (at least for someone of my tastes). Everything played live.

This was his caption:

I spent weeks practising this and learning instruments I hadn’t played for years to try n make this as special as I possibly could. EVVERRRYYYY thing you hear in this I play totally live. And there are some sounds I really couldn’t believe we were able to make like this. Its one of my favourite things ive ever been a part of

This man has a ridiculous amount of talent. It sickens me.

We were listening to the Dublin set the other day. Soooo good.

I have loved this one and overplayed it. Haven’t heard it in a while.

Sorry to crash your thread.
But does this count?
It does have some accoustic guitar in it…

You know that there is always a guest pass waiting for you at the door.

Whilst not one of Confidence Man’s better tracks, it definitely qualifies.
