EPL 2023/24

So did Renan Lodi. And Marseille just got eliminated in the qualifying playoffs. Shoulda stayed at Forest :grimacing:

Johnson would be set financially for life, but I’m not sure it’s a great move for his football. Gonna be a stack of players on Chelsea’s bench, and not even in the matchday squads , that’ll not get much opportunity. And I’m not familiar enough with how Pochettino likes his teams to play or their formation, but Brennan needs a suitable structure because he’s far better (at this stage) out wide on the right than playing in a central role.

He only wants a move if he’s not out of pocket. So yeah if that’s why he doesn’t want to play and would rather sit on the bench at Utd and collect a wage then get someone else in who is desperate to pull on the shirt. You could probably find a player far superior for the same money in another league.

That or in our own squad. Maguire is possibly ahead of Aguerd or Zouma as a defender but our current CBs are far better on the ball.

Another one off to this awful mob

Tyler Adams to Bournemouth. Makes sense, no point him staying at Leeds in the Championship.

It’s been a strange transfer period really. Not a huge amount happening - though Saudi signings have pulled some players from the market - , even big clubs like Liverpool have missed targets, but some astronomical figures for those who have moved.

3 points is 3 points. Take em however you can.

Hammers could be in deep pooh but not as deep as the Pacman. Paqueta is being investigated for spot fixing. He managed to get a yellow card last season on the same day that a lot of gamblers in Brazil happened to bet that he got a yellow.
Surely a coincidence .
Edit. Bets were placed doubled up with Luiz Henrique getting booked as well playing in Spain on the same weekend. Another Brazilian who just happened to get booked .:wink:

Crikey.

Surely not? He was going to earn squillions at Man City !?

City bid on hold now. Last season’s business coming back to bite him big time.
If true that is.

That was a real poor goal conceded by Liverpool

Pool 2-1 up now and looking like they could win by 6

Look great going forward but we are looking equally as poor when defending

Bring ■■■■■■■ endo on and play proper system.

Brighton are demolishing Wolves.

Brentford likewise at Fulham

Thought Mac Allister was stiff for the straight red. Solid win for the Reds given the shaky start. Toon up next!

Tonight was further proof of how diabolical this side is. Spurs are a very average side and still looked streets aheax
