EPL 2023/24

Luton will wanna stay up on their own merits, but it must be weird for them bouncing around with these penalised clubs.

Everton to lose another 4 points they reckon.

Note that Forest were charged under “profitability and sustainability” rules, not the Financial Fair Play rules. Essentially, this all revolves around not selling Johnson in the previous financial year, but instead waiting two months and selling him for more money So we’re charged with profitability breaches - which is intended to protect clubs from themselves - by making £15m MORE profit…

It’s absurd.

Anyway, of far more problem is that we can’t get a win atm. Conceding a late goal away to Luton cost us yet another 2 points. If we were playing to our potential - look at how well we played against Liverpool - then the four points wouldn’t matter.

If Forrest lose points like this it’s inevitable Everton will get the same IMO.

It’s ridiculous all the same

And if Citeh lose points …… oh who the fck am I kidding

City should lose points though

Arsenal will win the league. if they beat Citeh in Shiteh.

They’ll be playing in the A-League with the amount of points that will be deducted.

A lot of articles saying that Ratcliffe wants to replace ten Hag with Garett Southgate. Hmm…

Wolves had to clean out many of our starting 11 last summer with many sold off to meet budget. We were basically left with scraps. We obviously spent our fair share previously (eg. Cunha 40+ mill) however when we had to, we sold including Neves, Nunes (who we only had for 1 year) and Collins (who we also only had for one year). It was ugly and Lopetegui had a cry and left us also on the eve of the first game, leaving us with Gary O’Neil who came onboard days before the first kickoff. As such, I don’t have a problem with points deductions for clubs who flaunt the rules, no matter how sad as long as the big 6 are punished (heavily where necessary).

Many of our fans thought we would be relegated this year, including me, as we literally had nothing left. Gary O’Neil has done a stellar job, however our waifer thin squad is falling over the the moment due to injuries and not enough backup. We lost to Coventry in the Qtrs of FA cup, and our season will also fall over too with the side close to Europe qualification.

Unfortuntely, Premier league is never fair, but I still love it, it’s the best football league in the world.

It seems Forest knew what they were doing, took the risk, stayed up by 4 points, and are now complaining about being penalised for breaching rules they knew they were breaching. And have received a 4 point penalty which if imposed last year would have saved Leicester.

What the hell have they got to complain about??? They got an extra year of EPL, more if they stay up this year despite the penalty.

You must be talking Leicester Citeh as apparently they’re in the ■■■■ too.

They will eventually.
Will most likely be in another season or two and will probably see them back in the Championship for a year where they can belt everyone 6-0 and come straight back up

The PL’s desired outcome would be Everton and Forest staying up despite the points deductions, because if either one of them go down (I say that because I can’t see Sheff Utd or Burnley surviving at all, so it would be out of Forest, Ev, Luton and possibly Brentford) by a point or two then my god it’s gonna be a debacle. Clubs that have stayed up wouldn’t know if they would subsequently be relegated if Forest or Ev got points back after appeals.

Chelski might be back in the pooh. Their dodgy dealings by Abramovich might be made public due to an ongoing court case with an ex director and new details might be released by the Met Police.
