EPL 2023/24

Leicester charged for their last 3 seasons in the PL. Could have massive promotion implications given they sit first in the championship.

ESPN reporting that any points deduction would be unlikely to be implemented this season.

Seems weird that’d be the case for teams up for promotion but not for teams fighting relegation.

So they get promoted and then lose points. good luck staying up on that basis

Newcastle v West Ham has been nuts. 3-3 in the 86th with injuries, pens, bizarre moments.

Edit: Barnes blasts a late one to make it 4-3, massive late turnaround after Hammers cruising at 1-3

Fk the penalties given to Newcastle

Moyes should have put Ings on for Antonio at 3-1 up and kept the pressure on the geordies. We can’t defend.
You wouldn’t want to be colourblind watching Brentford and manure. Both wearing stripes.

How have Brentford NOT scored!???

This has been a dismal performance from MUN.

Lol no way United score

1-1 now flood gates open in the 100th minute

Pathetic.

Lol Chavs coughed up the lead twice to a 10 man Burnley

Sheffield thought they were 4-1 up but got ruled offside, went down the other end and was 3-2. Muniz from Fulham struck a gorgeous leveller a few minutes later. Some bonkers finishes this round.

That wasn’t even the funniest part of the game. Should have seen the penalty given to break the Scottish record of penalties given in one season. They’ve still got 6 games to stretch it out further.

The EPL ain’t got nothin’ on the SFA, LRA and RIFC

Liverpool regains top spot on the PL table, coming from behind (yet again) to beat Brighton 2-1 at Anfield. Goals from Diaz and Salah sealed the win after Welbeck’s 2nd minute opener for the Seagulls.

The Reds overtake Arsenal at the summit after the Gunners and City played out a scoreless draw at the Etihad. Arsenal played more like a team fighting relegation than one aiming for the title as they sat back and let City dominate possession, but their discipline and solidity at the back meant a share of the spoils with the League and European champions.

I didn’t see the Arsenal game but by all accounts it was a dull affair. I’d love us to have won, but I’m content that we didn’t lose. Still 3 teams in it with a fighting chance.
