Essendon Football Club Mt Rushmore

If Essendon built a Mt Rushmore style monument at The Hangar, who would be carved into the granite?

I’m positive about 3, Coleman, Reynolds & Sheedy but not sure about number 4.

Popular vote would say Hird, but is there anybody else that’s worthy?

Madden, TD, Hutchinson, Timmy, the “Get a big dog up ya Collingwood” guy?

Thurgood?

I believe it should be people who changed the club as a whole, not just great players.

Coleman, Sheedy Reynolds and Hutchinson are our 4 legends in the hall of fame. So i think your underselling Hutchinson by not including him straight up. 4 flags, 2 brownlows and 7 BnF’s he beats anyone elses record including Hird.

If its a class of 4 its pretty easy to give it to those 4.

Well… Wiki always has your back.

The presidents on Rushmore were picked to represent Birth, Growth, Development and Preservation.

So i would go further back… And ensure it has Robert Mccraken
and Albert Thurgood featured.
