That one error sums up Hardy. Dumb and a slow learner.
Make the most of your time while you can buddy.

How good were those grabs from Hardy up front? And his kicking for goal was spot on in greasy conditions.
reckon joes hair looked hird like on bomber tv this week

That free and goal for the headbutt charge with a few minutes to go was garbage. I thought it was clear that headbutter is supposed to get penalised. Take that incorrect decision away and we won.
All in all some decent play but got very sloppy in the last quarter.
yep that was utter crap, aylett was standing there and the headbutter got up and went straight into his chest then all the gc players had the guts to go over and push aylett for 'making high contact', absoloute joke.

Not to mention the Joe getting chopped over the shoulder and not getting the obvious free.Either way, we shouldn't have let it get that close.
Aylett puts his head over the footy, i like that.
All our players were pretty quiet after half time bar a few to be honest. To be expected in February
Was very impressed by leroy, gleeson, both merrett’s and kav in the first half. Ashby was solid most of the game too
Goddard
Chapman
Baguley is no. 12 Baguley is no. 12 Baguley is no. 12 Baguley is no. 12 Baguley is no. 12.
Beyond that, Gleason and ashby contributed well. Thurlow, massive sigh of relief. Steinberg, just seems to lack a yard of pace by competes very well, not quite there. Nice to see howlett looking fully fit again, reckon he will sneak under the radar if played fwd a bit. Zaha looked much more assured around the stoppages. Thought jetta showed good desperation and was more decisive. Carlisle and daniher showed good signs , don’t underestimate how much better chappy and licha will make them look. Both merretts are the real deal. Kav a little disappointing.

Leyroy looks to have a mindset adjustment from what I saw.....actually looked like he wanted to be out there.
Also massive brain explosions aside hardy does seem the most likely of the medium forwardd

and also just before the guy headbutted aylett, their full forward think it was lynch at the time? went the ball was kicked in deep gave the biggest push in the back to gleeson and the ump called play on.
what about when the ump called a free to kav for a push in the back and then gc kicked the ball away and you hear the ump say 50 m for kicking th eball away then when i ball came back to kav to take the kick the ump didn't even know what he said and got confused and just gave the normal free without the 50!
We didn't have many midfielders out. Fair enough Jobe and Goddard, but Melksham and Myers are not big losses.
We had Stanton, Zaka, Hocking, Heppell and Howlett tonight, who all get a game as midfielders in our best 22. With normal injuries, you would expect to be missing one or two most of the time.
That's rooted.
Who are all the 1st choice and ball winning mids that people say we were missing?
Jobe - Yep.
Goddard - mmmm yep OK.
Who else?
First lets look at the two players mentioned:
Goddard: Reigning best and fairest winner, accomplished inside/outside mid,
Watson: Brownlow medalist, Best clearance mid in the comp, captain, organisational player
Then we have:
Myers: senior midfielder with a strong body around stoppages
Melksham: the very person who stood up and played Jobe's role while he was injured and key cog in the rotations
not to mention the two or three others (Chapman, Dempsey et al.) who would rotate through instead of the younger inexperienced guys or the senior ruckman who knows the midfield set up better than an individual who played a first (yet very promising) game.
I think there is a little room for improvement.
