Outcome was what I thought it would be, how it happened isn’t.
We dominated that game just not on the scoreboard, hard to lose a game still with 33 scoring shots even if more points, happy with our zone defence and defensive efforts around the ground, GWS are a good kicking team and can open teams up but our zone made it difficult for them to transition the ball from their back half to go forward.
We have some problems up forward for sure, Jones is lacking alot of confidence from the Jones we have seen before taking pack marks, kicking goals it will come, lucky for him he plays next week. Menzies and Davey like all young kids whilst effective around the ground with pressure acts and goal assists need to hit the scoreboard hoping next week this happens but a Melbourne defence will make it very difficult for them.
Redman back to his normal game and Heppell played well, good disposal and decision making this week.
Massimo would still have been handy in a game like today, hopefully he comes back soon and it looks like Voss may well just get his turn next week.
You waited 7 months to post, and then spouted this garbage.
@saucy is as passionate as they come for the Bombers. If can’tyou handle handle someone else posting their opinion- the internet probably isn’t the place for you
Foolish men write off players and coaches after four games, but giving the players both barrels at 3/4 time is last resort stuff and he’s pulled it out after four games.
The problem with us if we win 10-12 games is not that we’d throw the toys out with the cot, we’d decide the cot is actually a two story house and only needs a home theatre installed.
I think we are so emotionally scarred by the events of the last 10-15 years that we just automatically expect Brad Scott to make the exact same mistakes the likes of Worsfold and Rutten made.
One thing we can know for sure after the last few months is that Brad Scott has his head screwed on and isn’t living in a delusional reality. He’s not the type, given his experience, to finish 10th with 10 wins and just automatically assume we are one piece of a puzzle away from beginning a dynasty.
Prob should be in the unpopular opinion thread but watching the replay again I’m. It sure I’m a big fan of Haynes’ hit on Weideman. It’s easy to explain that stuff away as two blokes going hard at the ball but Haynes had it all in front of him and, while quick, gets to de use how he approaches the contest. He can protect himself. Weid totally exposed. As I said, will be unpopular and prob misguided but just left me with a gross feeling.
