Maguire may be poor for United, but he has always been fantastic for England
England had a superior squad last tournament as well, Italy on paper doesnât look strong but thatâs never been an issue for Italy, when theyâre on they play as a team better than most.
I donât think Italy can win this comp, but theyâre a funny side, they have a nice midfield and back 5, with a good manager, their biggest hurdle is getting out of the groups, they find peace in the knockout games, they can ride momentum as good as any team.
Slabby is good for the NT, Branthwaite shouldâve been there and Tomori had a decent season for Milan.
The issue for Maguire playing for United is they will usually attempt to play the high line which he canât do as he has the pace of a snail thatâs been stepped on and gets caught out. When this happens, he panics and makes those comedy of errors that weâve seen him do previously. The games United played this year where they needed to sit back and defend the low block he looked excellent. England allow him to play to his strengths.
If Naglsmann can get Wirtz, Musiala and Havertz to fire theyâll be super fun to watch.
Portugal have enormous talent but similar to the Poms, culture is always an issue.
The dutch have a sweet back 4 or 5 and a nice midfield coming through, goals will be the hurdle they need to jump.
Didnât England just recently lose to ICELANDâŚat home???
Shut up d-ck head
This insult needed more
Stai zitto, testa di cazzo
Surprised they even qualified. I support Italy now like I have supported Essendon for 2 decadesâŚwith disdain!
At least Italy has lifted silverware in the last two decades unlike Essendon
Thatâs why I said now. They are very average.
Ah yes, the Dion Prestia of the EPL.
Canât see Pele missing a crucial penaltyâŚeven though he is dead.
Does Australia get a guernsey here? After all, weâre in Eurovision (aka The Gay Olympics).
Speaking of Euros, anyone watched the Netflix doco on the 2020 Euro Final? Absolutely off the wall, complete carnageâŚ
Yeah did catch that, that Italian fella and his daughter were quite lucky it didnât end very badly.
Why, what happened?
Yeah it wouldâve been a bloody scary experience for them. The fact at first their tickets were in the England end and security werenât going to let them go the other side of the ground with the Italian fans, for their own safety Iâm glad sanity prevailed.
Just soccer hooliganism at its finest. Itâs a good watch.
Nothing quite like shoving a flare up your ass
