Evidence of Scott Lucas kicking a right-foot goal

Sorry, women can do anything a man can do, including growing a moustache

Not a fair comparison of accuracy. Lloyd would have had a far higher proportion of set shots and on average from closer to goal.

Yeah, you’re right, Lloyd did kick a lot of goals, very accurately, from set shots. A skill at which he was - easily - the best in the league.

Which is obviously why you’d pick Scotty first.

Further proof that Lucas actually handballed at least once.
Unless you call that fake news.

This is one of the best vids I’ve ever seen. Few better sights than Scotty Lucas on the left drilling them post high from 60!

I got diabetes just watching that.

Great stuff.

Thanks for posting @alex.f.94

I was at the wrong end that day, so this was my best photo.

I was on the 50m line on the Northern side of the ground so saw a lot of it reasonably close

I think that day might have been the one single time in my life that I actually had some sort of positive feeling about the budgies
their send off for Sheeds & Hird was pretty impressive.

Round 2 2000 vs Hawthorn is the only one I remember.

He could have kicked a couple in the 2000 GF if he’d had any sort of a right foot.

I used to work with a guy who said Lloyd had never kicked a right foot goal
I reckon he kicked 3 one day, and probably 30 over his career.

But never from a set shot

Boomerangs were more the go in Lloydy’s day.

Courtney Johns had Lloyd comfortably covered in that area.
