Is he playing as an intercept defender?

Yep, been FB the whole game.

I still think it’s strange that Scott wouldn’t meet with Francis last year. He could have been handy this week.

I was a Francis fan and still want to him to have a decent career but a move was best for both parties IMO

I’ll still take Weideman in over Francis out

Weid was coming in to be in our best team, Francis was fringe and we’d have been prioritizing other kpd opportunities for Reid Cox etc. Now we are 5 kpd options down. Unlucky.

He had his chances in our team but didn’t take them.

And only getting games as Sydney decimated for injury themselves

Freo’s full forward is 2nd year skinny Jye Amiss today also

I totally agree he is better off in a fresh environment but I just wonder why Scott didn’t even want to meet with him. Either way it’s good to see him getting another chance.

Getting his arse absolutely handed to him in this last quarter by a 19 and 20 year old. A bog average footballer.

People still think Scott should have talked to him?

Four games into his Sydney career he’s yet to taste victory.

He was always soft

No, I don’t think that has ever been his issue.

Fitness and inconsistent form, sure. But I don’t think I’d describe Francis as soft.

He’s so ■■■■.

Thought Franga played ok all game.

Not much fun being a back man when Freo mids were on fire.

I can never understand why we didn’t leave him as a defender.
