Do you know why we are effectively booting him? Is his body simply done, or does he not want to work hard to get it right, or is he not a team player? Us trading him is a huge 180 from 12 months ago.

Contracted player. Will need to be traded. I would prefer to keep him for our VFL team unless Adelaide is prepared to offer at least their 5th rounder for him - it’s more than he is worth.

I don’t mind them talking about him as if he’s some kind of superstar. Might mean we get media pressure on our side for a good deal.
We need to pump this guys tyres up to 2nd round pick value STAT!
I would hold him to the contract increase the value if we can get him on the field next year then if he requests a trade just do it. If not the case release him for a future 2nd round pick.

Tbf the Crows are picking up a qualit7 player with some points on the board IF they back in there fitness staff to work out his body.
So, he’s passed fitness tests on every soft tissue injury that has failed him the past three years. Yeah, well he passed them this year too and lasted five minutes. Even breaking down during rehab.
Good luck whoever gets him, because he’s not been worth the money we’ve been paying him recently.

We’ve been conditioned to losing players over the last 12 months and after the Saad “shock”, Daniher/Fantasia barely raise a ripple.
Fantasia’s wanted to go home for a while so hopefully Essendon can help facilitate that move, if either SA club are actually interested in bringing onboard a player with soft tissue concerns? 3rd rounder at best.
I look forward to Essendon having players who are physically resilient.
