I guess that depends on your criteria for ‘Elite’.
No doubt you will say that one needs to perform at a high level for several seasons to reach that level…fair enough.
Let me throw you a hypothetical…
At the completion of Season 2017, if every List Manager was asked to select 3 small forwards they could have on their list for the 2018 season, how many of them would have selected Fantasia ?
I would suggest nearly all of them.
Betts and Breust come to mind as the other 2.
I think you could make a case that at that stage, he had reached elite level in his position.
Anyhow, I feel like you are taking this argument way too seriously.

I tend to agree but it would be nice if one of them would come out and say so. It might help us attract players to the club.
I’d take their second next year faster than BT says Orazio Fantasia, which admittedly takes him quite a while
