I like the way Raz and the Crows have actually gone about it. If Crows have made a commitment to bring Raz in, the onus is now on them to get it done. Despite how little footy Raz has played, this will strengthen our hand, as Raz is still contracted and wasn’t exactly kicked to the curb by the club.
If he hits form at the Adelaide Oval they might rename it the Orazio Fantasia pocket.
Have the Crows made a commitment? I must admit I’m paying very little attention to the media but I haven’t seen @Wanderlust post Adelaide’s commitment

Fantasia hasn’t spoken openly about any nomination (or even that he’s leaving).
Any pick below 40 for Fantasia would be a magnificent result for Essendon

Smith and Fantasia have a bromance going on. Wonder if Fanta leaving would affect Smith’s decision to stay.
Don’t know, I did say ‘if’. But clearly they’re in contact given the comments. Essendon just have to sit back now you would assume and wait for word from Raz.

In 2017, the very notion of someone even thinking that sentence would be completely incomprehensible to me. It’s a footballing tragedy the way he has fallen off a cliff for a variety of reasons. Sadly, you’re right. That would be about his market value now.
If that’s all it takes for Smith to entertain leaving, then he’s a bigger ■■■■■■■ than he looks.
I don’t know why the club aren’t going harder for him. Has one cr@p year cause north is in worse shape than ours…he can’t kick goals if the ball isn’t going down there?

Except for those 3 goals he missed from 35 to 40 out on the run that were his bread n butter in 3 different games that would have put us into GF’s or Semis, … yeah.
