Ex #33 Brayden Ham - sliced

That time in the last when Perkins was wide open … Ham stops for no apparent reason … waits for Perkins opponent to close and then kicks it to him but it was easily picked off. Nearly lost my ■■■■.

The entire crowd did.

Hope he enjoyed his last game in the red and black. He again was the worst on ground.

Yep I was defending him last week, but his game today was one of the most non-competitive performances from an Essendon player since the Zac Clarke days.

Worst part is I fully expect him to dominate the VFL. But he doesn’t translate his game at all

I mean, could you even justify picking McDonaugh?

How could he possibly offer less?

Yup, was towelled up by their winger from the getgo. Drops balls at players feet, scooped up by their mids.

He tried tho, just no good under the hammer. Or not under it too

And rightfully so. He saw him and still held the ball up, all he had to do was move it on quickly and we were away

Isn’t all that quick for a bloke who’s meant to have wheels, he doesn’t tackle, and he just can’t find enough of the footy for a very outside player.

I really don’t see what he’s bringing to the side at all.

He also has zero football IQ.

He doesn’t seem to get he needs to move the ball quickly.

He balks. Everyone can see that is wrong, except for him.

And apparently the selection panel

Should NEVER be in 1st again….ffs, he is scared shitless, one sided, doesn’t tackle, has a body that screams kick sand in my face….eject permanently and play a kid thats gunna improve

If he’s picked next week the AFL needs to charge us with tanking.

Sorry Ham, nothing against you as a person but you just don’t offer anywhere near enough.

Dropping uncontested marks proves he’s terrified of the contest. It’s so hard to watch. I have nothing against the guy but it really ■■■■■ me others aren’t getting an opportunity.

With Walla and Snelling out, basically you’re looking at Lord and Hird left as options. It’s pretty grim.

Alternatively you could obviously play another mid like Hobbs as a predominant forward which I wouldn’t be against given Ham’s level right now.

Agree with the above, but think he actually has potential as a small crumbing forward. Doesn’t suit the role he’s being played in. Seems way off it.

I am just so sick of this sheet.
Tex has got a lot of learning to do, but I think he looks smaller/lighter than Ham is so much less experienced and yet he tears into everything with an absolute fearless determination.

How in God’s name can this guy keep getting games ahead of almost anyone, even if they get picked out of position.

It is an absolute insult to them and the selection integrity process.

As long as it doesn’t screw up Hobbs development/confidence I’m all for this. When Cox is good to go he’s spry enough to play a small forward role (and provide a marking target) of some kind and achieve more than Ham.

Otherwise basically Smith replaces Ham for now.

I’ve long been in the camp of give Ham a chance to develop…

I’m officially with the villagers holding a pitchfork, shouting get him out.

Let someone else develop, I just don’t see Ham making it.
