Family Day - March 7th @ 6.00pm

Interesting that the practice match will be a limited tix thing

There is bugger all room at the ground any more, probably holds 5,000-8,000 safely. And I assume the freaks at Richmond will want to go also
Hmm good point  It might be safer to set up some camping chairs and watch from Platform 9/10 at Richmond Station.

If I can't get in I will just watch from the other side of the fence. Heaps of room to watch the game. Then I'll take a dump on their doorstep

Ah, clever.

They'll assume you're a member and invite you in.

Dress like this bloke, and you'll be escorted into the VIP enclosure

Then they'll sign up the turd to get them closer to 75K members.

Crazy idea.

Think about those outside of Melbourne, particularly our interstate supporters.

A Friday evening leading into the long weekend virtually ensures perhaps a very small percentage of the club's supporters will make the trip.

Collingwood had their family day...2 Saturdays ago!!! Yes it was stinking hot. But, at least they maximised the opportunity for their supporters to go.

Underrated post.

I think yellow wig dude might have cut the flow.

Otherwise we would have seen this guy in a Tiges guernsey by now:

Wouldn't be the first time feces have been found at the front of Punt Rd Oval.

Any info about the game and access etc.? Can't find anything.

There’s fences up everywhere. Will be lucky to fit a thousand in.

Apparently going to be live streamed on efc.com.au.

Buffering.

Looks like it's sold out.  No tickets available:

That's nice then. Stupid venue to have it if they can't fit more than a few ******* supporters in.

Yeah spewin, wanted to go with a Richmond supporter mate.  Thought tickets would be easy to get.

Hello Blitz, I tried a quick search of the forum but was unable to find a family day topic.

I work in the city and was wondering what would be the best way to get to the family day from the city?

Cheers.

EDIT: to clarify I work near the courts near flagstaff and melbourne central, I hear driving is out of the question with limited to no parking at the facility.

Get the train to Broady and then the shuttle bus.

"Live band playing throughout the event."

Yep that's necessary. It's just annoying as they play rubbish and you can't get away from it.

Don't carry any valuables with you if you are going to broady. Maybe just take a knife to be on the safe side.

And don't eat bacon in public.
