Might play Geelong first up, have a decent record against them
I can see Melbourne losing to the Bulldogs, despite the Dees having much more to play for.
Then Carlton will roll them in the 7th v 10th Wildcard Final, nothing surer !
Loving the latest instalment of Fark Carlton False Dawn.
Look at them, all pumped up with a 10th place finish and a draw to the Bulldogs. Best players included Hewett (30), Acres (30), Haynes (34), and Cripps (30).
They’re going nowhere near the pointy end with this team. Hope they enjoy languishing between 8th and 12th for the next few years.

Where’s the outrage??? Is it the same media who insisted Essendon couldn’t run a fair process if James Hird was involved that have suddenly gone quiet while Carlton runs a “full process” only to hand the job to the bloke already auditioning in the chair.
How is that fair on Kelly, Graham, Skipworth and Enright when none of them were gifted a 12 week live audition?

It isn’t fair I suppose - but who cares? All I hope is the Fraser has the same success level as their past half dozen coaches and manages to keep the job for there next decade or so.

I reckon they all passed on the Essendon gig thinking it’s Hird’s anyway. Fraser saying at first he wasn’t interested made it the next best job in town. Bit of onfield success and a whisper in his ear and it all changed with the other interviewees left holding their old fellas. Not sure if they ever applied for the Tassie job but it looks like they’re assistants for a while yet.
