Their list is older and more experienced but no better than ours. This year will be their peak and in a few years they’ll be back at the bottom where they belong. Walker will be a bust yet they will pay through the nose for him, and they’ll need to rebuild through a series of heavily compromised drafts. They are further from their next flag than we are. Fark them.

If we bid on him at Pick 1, that’s 3000 draft points. They get no discount as a finals team, so have to come up with those points with 2 picks. Pick 10 is worth 1276 points. They need a top 5 pick to get to 3000 points. FC do have another 1st round pick from the Curnow deal plus 2 early 2nd round picks. They will have to get creative…

When I was young, I had Carlton as my second team and it was only when I got some maturity that I realised that Essendon supporters were supposed to hate Carlton supporters. Bloody sister even went and supported Carlton for awhile when she was living next to Brett Ratten ha ha ha ha. Disgusting story really.

They hate us as much as we hate them, we don’t even know who North melbourne is.
The rivally with carlton goes back a long way but also got stronger in the 80s and 90s.
