I see Dâintinosanto kicked another 5.0 in the 1st week of finals.
Takes his season tally to 32 sitting 2nd behind Manton. He also has good tackle numbers for a small forward.
Maybe the club are trying to drive down his appeal to the other clubs so they give up very little for him as a Father-Son.
Whatâs cheaper than a rookie pick?
That was the point. To get him/keep him down to rookie pick level.
And then he explodes next year.

With our injury history, nothing would surprise me.
So your saying we only kept Jake Long on our list cause of his name? Oh crap
Trying to think of another reason.
Yeah I canât sorry

Have you not read the title of the Bellchambers thread?
Is there a cap on explosions?
Too many FS threads, I put this in another one of them about Mason.
Itâs worth noting Mason Fletcher has spent most of the back half of the year playing forward for Calder. Heâs kicking goals too, had a bag of 4 a few weeks back vs Dandenong, and seems to be getting about 2 a game. As I write this heâs kicked 2 against tassie just up to half time in the wildcard round.
Needs work and size but Iâm finding it interesting that this has happened? Essendon directive perhaps? We do need to be developing forwards.
Apparently Hird was on a roundball podcast (with Sandro and co?) talking about his boys playing soccer, said theyâd definitely be choosing that code over AFL.
Sandro
Santo

Both James and family have been a real disappointment since James retired.
Buying and selling Football clubs, the rise of Chinese Football and meeting Mourinho at Real Madrid, Ed and Santo sit down with massive football fan, AFL legend and Brownlow Medallist â James Hird

You really are a class act arenât you
i mustnt have been paying much attention
was a very soccer focused podcast.
but i thought it was more along if you could be good at either what would you want them to be play and it was like well soccer can earn big dollars etc if at the top level.
they also reminisced about hirdy being a handy rugby union and soccer player, but footy was in his blood and he didnt really have a choice what sport he would focus on.
whereas he seems pretty comfortable to let his boys decide what they want to do.
Why should we draft him? Because he is Dustinâs son? Mason actually has potential and talent which is worth exploration? Otherwise why draft him? Heâd just end up like Longy in the seconds.
I donât think we should recruit Mason.
