A question I’m sure has been debated: can I have: McCartney 1, or Plastic Ono Band, or All Things Must Pass. All arguably Solo Debuts?

Sure you can…

Unless new info comes through that shows you can’t

See thread immediately below :grimacing:

I don’t make the rules but technically ATMP was George’s 3rd album and John released 3 albums with Yoko before POB. Macca definitely.

Yep. Completely right. :love_you_gesture:

And as much as I like it, McCartney I is on the cusp of the team, despite its long term influence.

Could argue JL Plastic Ono Band was a debut…

Still one of my favorite albums.

Pearl Jam - Ten

Boston - Boston

Jeff Buckley - Grace

Led Zeppelin - 1

Smashing Pumpkins - Gish

Stone Temple Pilots - Core

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not

The Divinyls - Desperate

Bad Company - Bad Company

  8. Black Flag - Damaged
  9. The Datsuns- Self Titled

Ok that was a difficult task. Most of mine have been mentioned, but in no particular order.

Madness - One Step Beyond
The Police - Outlandos D’more
Shyhooks - Living in the 70s
The Specials - S/T
Hoodoo Gurus - Stone Age Romeo
The Clash - S/T

King Stingray - S/T

Boo to Warren Zevon doing the very early one before his 76 Self Titled album. That one is epic.

Such an underrated band on a global level. Perfect middle of the road, contemporary pop/rock. Were on par with The Eagles in this regards.
