or
Essendon blow out to a 50 point lead before half time, before subbing out to Essington who allow Freo back into the game.
You know this afternoon won’t be relaxing.

I’m thinking we come out early and DOMINATE play… but kick 1. 9 and then Freo (and the umpires) score 3 quick goals to give them the lead while we lament our missed chances…
We then lose our nerve going through the middle and start to look shaky until McKenna decides to go for a dash, has 3 bounces and nails it from 45m out. That spurs the team into action and we pile on the next five goals and start celebrating like its the year 2000!
We then spend the next half watching paint dry, the only highlight being to cheer Jobe and Pops every touch, near touch or anything close… before singing the song and then spending another two hours obsessing over the other results to see our finals opponent.

Have spent the weekend using the nervous energy to lay about 30m2 of hardwood decking under new pergola and just realised that I demolished the old one in a few hours in a fit of rage immediately after that shocker to Brisbane

Taking my son to a kids birthday party which starts about half time. Half a game to see whether I play joyfully with kids, hide in a spare room with my phone, or hit the booze and get belligerent at the little ■■■■■.

The warm up was terrible just saying. Players missing targets and dropping marks/hadpasses.
