I blame the Ed Sheeran concert
VOSS.
Does not get injured.
Heās still a test for this week. I have faithā¦
If we wanna talk stats - only Setterfield and Blake Hardwick laid more tackles than him.
Would you send it on the back of a toe truck?
Innocuous toe? Time for panic stations.
That is a good sign. If Weideman can keep up the pressure his offensive game doesnāt need to be so impactful.
On offence, there will definitely be some average performances from him this year - heās got a history of inconsistency and seldom do key forwards gain consistency before being established AFL players. He is neither consistent nor established.
That saidā¦
With every performance like this weekās he adds another brick to the wall. Heāll be given a long leash, cut plenty of slack internally - most of the dismal performances at Essendon originate in the midfield and the forwards often have limited culpability - and, crucially, heāll be given an extended opportunity in the position he and the coaches agree is going to maximise his chances of success.
Iām hopeful that he can turn into solid citizen in Essendonās forward line. Anything beyond that would be a coup.
Yet he still made it to Kittens!
Yes, he competed well held his ground and attacked the ball. Also put on some great pressure. The intent is there, if others go past him well and good but i sore enough to say his working really hard on adding more aggression to is game.
Those camel toes can be deadly
WEEEEEEEED
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED
Is he playing or not?
Not yet.
Heāll be a late nothing ever goes our way
Relax, if he misses, he misses.
We pick an extra runner like Mass, and hope our resting rucks can hit the scoreboard.
Harry moved well last week, plus Perko & Martin give us some aerial strength forward of centre.
We should be okay as long as our rucks can stay on the field for most of the 120mins.
Will he be available this week? Will Jones stay in or will Voss replace him? Stringer?
Feel like we need one of Jones or Weid in the side.
