Former #19 Nick Hind

Just as quick as the praise did.

Purple patch over

Does he get squeezed out back to the sub role when Gresham and Parish come back in?

Parish looks to be three weeks away and Iā€™m not sure they wouldnā€™t give him a run in the magoos for a half first up.

Hind may get squeezed out by Gresham in the short term - baring injuries or suspension to someone.

No is the response

Looked alright from where I was. Miles away. Iā€™m only going to MCG games for the rest of the year. 6 more games?

Someone has to be the sub every gameday. Somebody!! Every gameday.

I reckon that Hind is one of a few players well suited to playing that role. Much as he might hate it.

He can play forward or back, and plays with passion when coming on. If we get an injury early in the game, Iā€™m comfortable that Hind has the skills and ability to fill any number of positions as sub.

If the coaching panel rate him good enough to start on the ground, Iā€™ll back that in too.

Lots of passion after the game too.
While the boys were on the boundary handing out footballs, Hindy sprinted the length of the ground to hand deliver a footy to a youngster. Nice touch.

Would like to know how many pressure acts he racked up, seemed to do a lot of chasing.

Itā€™s been interesting that Hind has been playing so well when the club has had a dip in form. Been doing well.

It seems like he has lost some of his pace. Anyone else think so?

No, steadying to look at options up the field rather than ballistic running.

Not sure who that WC player was that mowed him down yesterday but he was super quick, Hind was good enough to get boot to ball just.

Heppellā€™s goal - Hind where you want him, front and square of the pack swooping to set up Merrett for the Helppell goal.

Yeah, I thought his game was fine. If thatā€™s his bad day heā€™s doing ok.

Just got boot because of a push in the back, not paid?

Finally someone says something.
I didnā€™t want to, for fear of being called a hater.

He did a couple of things last night, but seriously ā€¦. If you are there and get the ball you are going to do a couple of good things.

Generally I thought he was pretty ordinary, handling even considering the conditions attrocious.
Absolute panic merchant.

Leaopard and his spots.

An enigma.
At his best he breaks lines, takes risks, provides spark and creates chaos.
At his worst he cant pick up the ball, miss a target by 10 meters or even stay on his feet.
The problem is i think he plays good/bad at a 50/50 ratio.
There is a fair chance you may be carrying him if you select him.
Its why he suits the sub.

I still reckon he skirts around when potential collision is imminent, he likes the uncontested ball much more than contested. Is that a nice way of saying he takes short steps at times?

He was poor last night, the fumbling and taking too long to pick it off the deck killed us.

With the entry volume and Wright dropping everything that came his way Tippa would have had eight be half time with the chances Hind got.

Heā€™s a trash forward.

Prefer Davey x 2, Wanganeen orr just play a mid.

Should be sub only from here on.
