I think we really miss his run and carry off HB. As soon as a team goes one-on-one in our D50 we struggle so hard to do anything except long down the line.

I think this Bomber has been badly treated within Scottās confusing selections this season. Particularly recentlyā¦ Not even an emergency this weekend with Kelly out, whilst Archie Perkins, Hepp and Menzie swan by. Heās had some v good games when selected, so canāt help feel his days might be numbered for a 2025 gig ?
Wouldāve def included him on the IC for this weekend against his old club, and at Marvel where he often does well.

I think your right and I think he may be picked up by another club on a 1yr contract.
Very unlikely to be at the club next year.

Itās been odd. Initially sub, he then played full games HB/wing for several games and did well. Gave us some run. Then moved forward and had 2 or so good games. Then some quiet ones, and bang, back to sub then out.
Edit: looked it up he had 7 full games in a row. But even in the last one he had 13 disposals, 1 goal and 6 tackles. Seems better than many have gone.

I have heard of two clubs being interested for next season, Melbourne based but not the Dees.
Agree, During peak Worsfold, we had 2 running half backs; gone, but still playing at other top clubs.
When we were playing well in 2024 Mcgrath was running nicely off half back, then we discovered we lacked marking power out on the wings, put 2 talls out there and started kicking long . Result, small oppo wingers slice through the 2 Easter Island statues and run through the guts, kick inside 50 for an easier shot at goal.
With large numbers of I50s we are not converting. Too few I50s from the guts, a KPF more intent on bringing the ball to ground in front of goal than leading, and ineffective small and medium forwards.
