I would have off loaded McGrath and used his money and contract to recruit a better player then him in his posistion
I would force McGrath on indefinite unpaid personal leave.
How much would that save you in the long run ?

Then Reid comes in at 2.0
That’s 2 players on over 20% of your Salary Cap.
I would off load some players to fit those two in

Carlton should off load Mckay and keep TDK.
Lose TDK and they are left with Pittonet who’s 28
What’s better is when the blues have to offer 1.4 to even get TDK to consider staying

I would say only Meek was a resounding win, and I’d back Meek to be more competitive next time.
I was thinking long term you keep TDK. Also he can play forward and be presence around the ground.
Not every ruckman is like Gawn where they can play into their mid 30’s
