i’ve ignored draper bevridge gate. what did draper actually say?
He said something like “boy’s I’ve got a bit of a scoop here, do you want to hear it?” Boys said “yeah”. Drapers says “well word around the traps is that a few Doggies players wont be there at the end of the year if Bevo’s still the coach”. Boys said “Woah”.
He said that Luke Beveridge got his fake teeth from illegal ivory poachers and that he bathes in the melted fat of whales to maintain his smooth complexion.

While simultaneously endorsing Taryn thomas as a good bloke.
Draper needed to be checked, he was playing hero football, making jokes on the field and generally not impacting games early.
Hopefully this is the impetus for him to focus his attention to destroying the opposition instead of Larkin behaviour and his post foot ball podcast career.

Even if he did, and I don’t agree that he did, not publicly, he didn’t.
If you take away his exuberance, then I’m not sure you have a very good player. With it, you have a game-breaker.

In any case, this is so overblown that it’s…beyond silly.
He did a comedy skit on a podcast pretending to be a journo (which I’m repeating because some posters still seem to think this was a genuine opinion).
He didn’t punch anyone, or stay out too late, or turn up to training smashed, or drive into the back of a parked car, or share women’s pics, or….
All of it is just nonsense and very badly handled.

Sam has a big job for us this week, and he may have to do it alone as we should be resting Goldy.

I would have thought we would want to play Goldy fresh against his old side.
Obviously, winning against GWS is the priority.
If Draper is fit, why cant he give us first use ?
There is also Bryan if they want to maintain 2 Rucks.
Briggs was a huge factor in gws’s run last year and he ragbdolled an unfit draper on their rematch. Gws midfield is also a much much bigger threat than tigers and norf so in combination we should definitely field our strongest rucks against gws imo.

I’d be disappointed if they rest Goldy against North.
