I love Sam Draper and hopeful he becomes the most dominant ruck in the league. But he’s been a an absolute goose and brought undue focus/criticism to himself and the club. He’s also been playing poorly and needs to start clunking some marks. Hopefully the last few weeks and the bake from Brad Scott refocuses him and he starts playing good football. Might be best for him to stay off “Media Street” for the foreseeable future

Regardless of how terrible you think what Draper did was, it has been handled terribly. Almost as if we wanted to breathe life into it.

I just don’t see how it was handed terribly. Brad just made a medium temp comment about it, and that was it.

I do think Brads comments were a bit over the top. Should have just said that Draper knows he made a mistake and moved on.

Again, if that were required (although I don’t think it was, but if it was) then it should have been done privately.
This…all of this is…is amateurish and stupid.
Edit: also, I have no idea how you can predict how Draper will react to it.
Edit: edit: but it’s a very safe call to make. If he improves (which he has been anyway) then it’s because of some tough love.
If he doesn’t improve or gets worse, then he’s soft.
I am not saying how Sam will react.
I am saying he needed a kick up the bum.
