Former #25 Jake Stringer (Part 2)

The thing is, he did change. Remember 2021? That was the year he learned how to run long distance (his words) and he subsequently dominated.

There is a fair chance that swimming will go a long way towards sorting out his groin issues as well as it builds the “support” muscles up around the groins

Also Dunkley noted how much more running they do at the Lions than they did at the Kennel.

ChatGPT should be Stringers coach/mentor

Agree!! And should apply to Tippa as well!

This one should be number 1 on your list. People really underestimate the importance of this one if you wish to be/stay lean. Artificial sugar’s the devil. Jake’s a young, male and does cardio for a living. Shouldn’t be that hard to remain in shape.

To be fair - just about anyone who moves to a new club, when pushed for comment on comparison - winds up saying something positive about the new regime. Same with change of coaches. You never, ever, hear the reverse. Smith may have been the exception hahaha

Stringer is just a bit of popcorn fun now. Will step on a few bottom 8 sides and not fire a shot when it gets a bit hard. Enjoy him for his highlight reel for the next ~17 games before he is delisted/traded next year after his contract ends.

Wow, that’s a little bleak!

No way we trade him or delist him won’t be worth much in a trade more valuable to us. it’s not like we have anyone waiting in the wings that can replace him

What would you rate Stringer as in terms of a draft pick?

find yourself a love like the love nino has with stringer

RTBC you are too Supportive . You trying to get into his head with reverse phsycology … Or trying to send him to a dark place. ???

Stringer’s skillset is unique and hard to replace like-for-like, but his role in the side could easily be replaced (going on every year of form for us except 2021).

Perkins probably the closest we have to some one who’s capable like Stringer

At the end of his contract I’d say Stringer will be worth a future 3rd rounder at best.
