Doing pretty good as the Captain of Tassie.
Most people on here were happy to cut him and keep players like Cox and Jones because they are “tall and take longer to develop”. How’s that working out? I’m not saying he’s a superstar but he’s better than the crap players we have on our list.

I’d suggest you go back and re-read the Jones thread in May last year when he signed a contract extension if you think most people on here were happy to keep him.

I doubt anyone wanted Jones extended and I reckon half the board want him delisted mid contract.

Whether we should or shouldn’t have kept him, the fact remains that he is having a ripping year for Tassie so far. Been in their best basically every week.
If he keeps this up I expect someone else in the AFL will give him a rookie spot or something next year.
