Ive never boooed any player, but he would be my first and just like Goodes it has nothing to do with race.
You people are nuts.
You are not alone in your thinking there are others who feel exactly as you do.
The club has made lot of what we might describe as weird decisions followed by our “what the f*kk” and this well maybe another. When the club have been in a pickle before they are known for quick fixes this may indeed be another one of those decisions. I’ve decided nothing they do surprises me anymore. The saga broadened my horizons.
What if Ryder is the difference between a flag or no flag in 2020?
LOL
I’m vindictive and spiteful. But even this is too much for me.
Its a question worth contemplating. Maybe its fortunate we don’t have a choice in make those decisions anyway.
I’d be very worried If a cooked, fat bloke with dodgey Achilles that is playing B grade is the difference between a flag or not.
Has anyone actually watched Port this year?
He has been effing useless. His career is over and sucked into the Judas flog
Fark Ryder and Fark Carlton
Can you post the article please
He’s better than Clarke, der I know, and we have a broken Belly and a promising kid coming back from an ACL. I’ve watched Port a couple of times, he was more than serviceable in possibly the toughest role in the game and sometimes had flashes of his old self. If he wants to come back i’d be surprised if we didn’t do our diligence. Any other proven ruck/forwards available?
With the success of ROB I’d be asking the question of Sam Jacobs as a stop gap for a year or two. Still tearing up the SANFL but I don’t see him as part of the Crows plans going forward
Would get Ryder for 30 pieces of silver.
We need to take the Richmond approach to recruiting ruckmen from other clubs. Identify a player who is not getting an opportunity at AFL level because there is an undisputed #1 ahead of him in the pecking order. Monitor how he plays in the 2nd tier comp (VFL/WAFL/SANFL/NEAFL), speak to his management well in advance about coming on board, that he’d be the #1, offer good terms, perhaps even slightly over the odds, to convince him to move. Player then puts out a trade request and you get him for unders as you’re signing another club’s back-up. They did this with Maric and Nankervis.
Not saying it’s quite the same but Zclarke tore up the WAFL didn’t he?
SANFL > WAFL. Also Jacobs > Z.Clarke
Sam Jacobs would still be good in the AFL if given the chance. Young ROB was only meant to come in for a few games and make way for Jacobs but his form has meant you can’t drop the kid.
I think this exact scenario would have played it if Draper was given a go but unfortunately we even preferred Clarke to him.
Yep, still think Jacobs is a top 10 AFL ruck
He couldn’t stand Longmire which is why he left. Tigers just got lucky but had to be in the right place at the right time so the rest of your post is spot on but Nank would’ve gone almost anywhere to get out
The hell?
They’re getting flogged in ruck almost every week.
