Time heals all wounds.
While there is still a cent left in his footy career, he will ■■■■ on everyone he needs to to make as much as he can.
Maybe in another 15 years when he’s been emptying bins for 13 years he will realise relationships can be worth more than a dollar value.
Plus he could have half a dozen sons, allegedly.

Tbf, the last time he was at Essendon is was probably have been pretty sht. So if walking back through the gates triggered him, that would be understandable. And no doubt the media were leading him to put down the Dons, and he fell for it.
But we’re better off with others anyway.

Can’t believe some wanted him back. Took another shitt on the club today. Can probably understand his doing so at the end of 2014 but to come back for a second time? It was purely financial and saints had the better offer for term and cash. He fkd us on a front ended deal last time too. Good riddance.

So many assuming he didn’t get a good feeling because people at the club didn’t want him 
Journos and many here have confirmed we’ve been courting him FOR MONTHS, they will have absolutely rolled out the red carpet for him.
Xavier personally gave him his Life Membership that’s been laying around the club for a couple of years, he was welcomed back into the family with open arms and full forgiveness, by one of the biggest clubs in the land, yet something felt so off about the place that he instead chose to go somewhere that he has no chance of being #1 ruck for, that are coming off yet another failed season of not making the finals and yet another sacked coach, reportedly for less money.
If that isn’t setting off giant alarm bells with our fans nothing ever will.

Like the fact Saints offer was significantly more than ours and we wouldn’t lift ours, not even to meet him half way as had rumoured to been requested.
He also will get guaranteed game time as fwd/ruck there but was going to be depth with us.

All Ryder as going to be was better back up for Belly if Draper wasn’t right to go, someone who could hitout to advantage given Zlarke can’t.
