Perhaps the problem is with the people holding the power. Anyone with a decent olfactory can get a sense of it even if its not clearly apparent by their actions. When something is not right it is usually felt first. A lot of people have been saying for sometime we need a cleanout from the top down.
The people pulling the strings are definitely keeping us in our place, the space of mediocrity.

It would have just been like when I returned home after a previous Mrs Fox had been informed that I was having a torrid affair with the very attractive blonde lady in my office.
As I walked in the door, I felt that this was not the place for me and due to my grievous sins against all who called the place their home, I did not feel any warmth or love. While I could not understand why there was no forgiveness, I gathered my meagre possessions and hurried away into more loving arms.
Things did not end well for me, and I think Paddy will suffer the same fate. You can never escape those consequences for being a dead-set ###### ( I will leave you to fill in the words, many apply)
