Great game. Can't fault it and pleased for him. But obviously needs to back it up next week with a good game. That's the key - one or two good games followed by poor games is where we fail to progress towards becoming a genuinely competitive side.
He has served his apprenticeship, now it is time to repay the faith shown in him.

Agree. I really hope it has all clicked for him now . Seems like he really wanted to make a statement last night. Keep it up Energiser Bunnie.
His attack and delivery tonight was excellent. If he could bring that every week it would be great. Thought his kicking was 100% on what he has shown in the past finally getting some reward for his hard work.
I wrote his career off before last nights game, BUT if that can be the minimum standard from now on, then he definately could be a spark we need going forward. For ours and his sake I hope he can keep it up.
AS I have said before, he is the missing link for us as he is that Brent Harvey type player - quick and goal hungry. Yes I went there with the comparison - but not with the talent as he is at best a poor mans Harvey. He compliments our plodders nicely and is needed.
Hopefully he can cement a spot in the team, but if history tells us anything, he will be dropped within 5 matches.
Rapt to see him come back into the side and play the way he did. Ran hard, got to dangerous spots, kicked a crucial goal and disposed of the footy well all game. Still goes missing here and there, but it’s great to see him hurting the opposition when he finds the ball.
I’m really happy he had a good game, let’s hope he can build on it. He kicked a really important goal, which should be great for his confidence and for his stature around the club and with fans. I feel like he’s been really frustrated so its good that he’s gotten some release.
The roar when he snagged the goal was mega ...I think everyone just wants the little guy to do well ..I know I do ...go trav !
I think the roar was due to the suspense of the moment.
We knew it was Colyer with the ball.
We hoped he'd put on the afterburners and run it to the goalsquare, and we're thinking 'please don't spray it, please don't spray it.'
But he doesn't sprint to the goalsquare and he doesn't spray it, he stops.
We all take a breath. And from the moment it left his boot it was not going to miss.
That's why there was a roar.
Many things make a moment ..but I'm sure we all want him to do good ...
Had an awesome game last year vs GWS where his kicking was perfect. Thought that might have been the moment where he became a consistently good AFL player…wasn’t to be.
He is the type of player who could be absolutely vital for us much like Stephen Motlop and Dayne Zorko but his kicks have obviously held him back. Will have to deal with extra pressure and tactics against him if he continues to kick accurately as well.
I'd written him off completely. I thought his disposal was deplorable, and couldn't wait to get him off the list at the end of the year. If he can keep playing near the level that he was last week, I'll be very happy to be wrong.
