Former #33 Alwyn Davey Jnr

Trevor Chappell?

Andy Gibb? Stop it Primmer, you are an idiot with nothing to do. I thought I would get that in first.

Even if at VFL level I’d love to see the kid do really well, not so much for FCFC but wcyd

The poor kid. We wish him well in keeping the stench off himself

I feel like he was a harsh delist to be honest.

Was going at a goal a game in a rabble vfl side before being moved back, had some good attributes.

Leaving his 7 sisters aside I reckon unfortunately he probably was the worst of the 4 brothers. In saying that the bar is higher than probably any other footy family.

he was the best looking

Yes, Bock’s little brother would have to be up there as the player drafted who was most unlikely to play AFL football.

He needed to raid Nathan’s “peptide” stash.

Seeing that Terry and Neale are both gods, you must have it in for Joey’s old man.

AD was actually one of my favourites in his stint with us. I feel for his family over that tragedy with his son.

Having said this, there’s no denying he had a face like a french bulldog chewing a scorpion.

Anthony Daniher went from the All Australian full back in 1991 to being bumped out of the 1993 premiership side - maybe JD was his dish best served cold.

Just rewatched his highlights from his debut V Hawthorn and i thought, WTF happened to this kid. Even his first few games, he looked GOOD. He looked every part of a promising, electric HF.

I do wonder whether some guys just play out of their skin on debut/first block of games from raw excitement, that realisation of “ i have made it” which gives that extra level to their game. You have that extra zip, that extra hardness ( he was never tough, but nothing like what he eventuated in) , that extra effort and intensity…and then once that wears off, your true level shows.

Because after that, he was probably one of the softest player i have seen in a dons jumper. He lost that intensity. He even looked slower.

You simply cannot play the way you did on debut like he did, and not be talanted. His debut literally proved he was talanted. Its got to be a motivation issue once that “im an afl player” shine wears off and all between the ears

Hire david goggins to flog these players to never let up.
