Tudor is the worst vfl coach that we have had in our history.
Our vfl side this year has gone 20 steps backwards.
It obvious to see why he never got the opportunity at coaching senior level. With his performance this year

Heās been screwed on selection this year, when he was in form he should have been given a game or two, just to have a look and build confidence and momentum. Really poor development coaching and reminiscent of past Essendon mistakes.

Does he ever watch the āleading patternsā in the Bombers AFL side? Bomb it long to 2MP - shouldnāt be too hard to learn!

Wasnāt it alleged that he seriously misbehaved on a trip to London and had his papers marked?
Never heard that, but the Bombers were also a bit strange around those times, both as a playing group, being very close knit and insular and the Board Management was heavily influenced by Jackson. I found Milne a likable kid, but I am sure he could be annoying.

Voss has kicked 29.22 scoreline this year. I would say he has had about 10 out on full too. Would need to get kicking a lot more consistent but has certainly had a fair amount of shots on goal considering how poor the VFL midfield is. Kicked 19.8 in 2022.
Avg 12.3 Disposals, 5.1 Marks in 2023 (17 games)
Avg 10.5 Disposal , 3.1 Marks in 2022 (11 games)
Its a step up this year but probably needs to go that next level up again to be a senior player.

Great example of the delivery that Voss needs to deal with in the VFL, was in the opening minute of the game.
Voss Leads at the ball. Setterfield kicks it over his head.
Heās open for a handball receive. Jorgensen picks the ball up and misses the target by hand.
And that all happened within 3 seconds.

Only seen Voss play once and that was last quarter at Vic Park when we capitulated horribly. He looked a bit slow, a trifle indifferent to things, didnāt win one on ones and wasnāt helped by Munkara and Tex doing a Marx Bros routine around him and getting easily beaten by their journeymen opponents. Not going to base any strong opinion on that example but we were in a position to win on a beautiful afternoon and they botched every decent chance up forward until the chances just dried up and we folded abysmally. My impression was heās not even close to a messiah but if he had some wheels I wasnāt seeing that afternoon he could be a damaging second forward. At this point maybe has Jono Brownās strut but a ways to go to earn it.

Good post. I think he needs to improve (if possible) his marking to be a bit more consistent to enable him to have a role in the f50. A high marking forward who can defend is a highly needed attribute currently. Elevating game smarts also an area of development. Overall, strong progress this year 
Its funny, when he was kicking bags in the first couple of rounds I said his kicking was still suspect and got absolutely torn to shreds on here haha.
One person even said, iirc, that he kicks it like peak Jonathon Brown haha.

to be fair, heād be copping the same sort of delivery in the seniors 80% of the time outside of delivery from merrett and martin. (add langford if heās outside the 50 too).

Iād hazard a guess that it was more anyone who worships at the temple of parish critiquing another players kicking as anything other than hypocritical, moreso than anything to do with whether they believed voss was or wasnāt a poor kick.
Of course you would hazard that, you are a special poster on here.

Heās got things to work on but you could say that for most of the senior players on our list, we lack presence and we lack physicality around the contest, I would bring him in for that alone.

harley Reid looked every bit a pick #1, was superb, looks extremely mature, wasnāt overawed at VFL level. If he wasnt the best player on the field he was in the best few. Looks like belongs at a higher level already.
Patty VOSS - 3 goals, tricky middle period of year for Paddy, not because he has played badly, moreso we cannot get him on the scoresheet. One of his best games was a couple of weeks ago where he didnt even get a goal. Heās working really hard and putting in a lot of work, nice to see him get some reward on the scoreboard, and great to see some high fives and a bit of a strut afterwards.

You need some of that, need a bit of attitude and swagger in footy, its a confidence game, its gladitorial, got to have a bit of it. Canāt have 18 of them, but got to have some guys with get up and go about them, and he has that. If he hits the scoreboard early in the game, he gets the boys up and about. Helped us early take it up to Southport on their home deck.
