Former #39 Patrick Voss - false messiah

My question is: will Scott entertain playing Voss next year? Clearly there are handful of players who are not in Brad Scott’s plans, regardless of their form in the VFL.

If he’s not in Brad Scott’s plans next season, then it’s probably best that we delist/trade the likes of Voss, Baldwin and D’Ambrosio.

Who is this kid? Sounds similar to Zach Perkins WSPHU

Baldwin, VOSS and Mass all sound like hard workers, I hope we keep them all.

Hoping they persist with Voss. Hasn’t played great in the VFL, but remember he is holding down a key position at a very young age, in an crap VFL team. That is a tough ask.

Hit or miss whether he makes it. But without a doubt he is a physical beast. if next year, he pole drives patrick Cripps into early retirement…then my 2024 is complete.

Has a crack. Puts his body in. Not a primma donna.

That is how it generally works. If your in the bottom quarter of the list your not likely to play and very likely to get delisted.

How can you lose what you lost years ago?

What about when he gets delisted?

Thats fine, at least we will have looked at him at AFL and know if his skill set transfers. But to not even give the kid who is capable of kicking a bag a game is pretty bad.

I meant…

When he gets delisted without playing a game

Huge list management failing not to have played Voss at some stage this year.

Even in that abysmal pre season game he took that mark running back with flight, that alone showing ticker was enough to suggest the kid had something about him.

Maybe he won’t make it, but you can make an informed decision if you give him 3-5 game stretch.

Agreed. Disgrace if he is delisted.

Who said he is getting delisted?

I did.

But tbh I don’t know ■■■■

That’s 3 of us.

If we’re staying true to the Essington spirit he’ll get a run this week in a completely wrecked senior outfit against a team looking to make a statement. Any one of the succession of Weidemann gift games could’ve been given to him, and who knows what might’ve clicked at the top level for both him and the forward structure? Look forward next year to him replacing Stewart for a week after he breaks down again, then being replaced the following week by Snelling, before shopping himself to Port or Sydney.
