So Voss gone?

Guy gets drafted late, significantly exceeds expectations, gets delisted. Fucken weird (if that’s what we suspect).

Who’s expectations did he significantly exceed? Obviously not the clubs.

Could be a thankyou for giving him 12 more months?

maybe he’s thanking us for giving him a contract??

In all seriousness that is really disappointing if he’s been given the a$s. For a guy of that size who has clearly shown that he has a lot of the raw ingredients to make a good player to be cut without being given a go is incredibly rough.

I for one am glad that Weideman played for 6 or 7 games where he could barely touch it. Ffs. Would it have really hurt to give Voss… one game? Two?

He won the Best and Fairest in the VFL as a KPF. How can that not be worth another year?

Mine. Thought he’d struggle to even have an impact at vfl level.

Disappointing if true

There are many players that have won B&F’s in the VFL but have not been any good at AFL level.

Well, we wouldn’t know how he might perform in the AFL because they never bothered to give him a shot at it.

How many 2nd year key forwards?

7 or 8

Meanwhile James Stewart got 7 years to show … not much.

And Voss is still 3 years younger than Stewart was when we traded for him!

I’m glad we delisted him before he played an AFL game. His legacy will live on forever. Probably name a stand at windy hill after him.

You missed an opportunity there.

I would’ve gone with “named a bench at Tulla after him”.
