Former #39 Patrick Voss - false messiah

Am i missing something? In the match report he’s not listed in the goal kickers.

He only played the 40 minute match sim after the “main” game.

OK, Thanks. More for the hopefuls, as opposed to best 22? I’m hoping he plays a lot this year. Keen to see reality VS Blitz hype train.

Could be, but whether its true or not the point is there could be other reasons for his delisting that arent to do with what we saw of him in the VFL

He did it when NicNat went Merrett

I watched some of the freo west coast game.

Treacy played ok and they have Amiss. So he is behind a few there as well. and only played in the VFL equivelant match sim.

we lack aggression.

voss could have offered it as a fringe player.

we have invested a top ten pick in a guy now with agression Caddy. And if he plays well we wont be missing Voss. but he was at least worth a game last year.

So he kicked 2 goals against the WC WAFL team? Not sure it’s anything we should be concerned about.

Quinn crawled so McKenna could walk

I will never forget his fresh airy from the goalsquare during the Adelaide final.

You would obviously need to define average, buuuut …

Can’t find a similar list for the RA Freeman medal but names like Ariel Steinberg, Aaron Heppell, a retiring Heath Hocking, Joe(?) Atley, James Polkinghorne don’t inspire you with confidence that winning the VFL b&f means you’re AFL standard.

yeh but if Voss kicked a couple for us (in a half of footy) would be saying he did more than Jones and Weid.

Had those 2-3 weeks where he was kicking goals then had a sook when he didnt get picked and just ploded along in the vfl

Yes he won the b&f but he also played in a garbage side wouldnt have been hard to win the b&f

When and how?

There was reports that he wasnt happy whats funny his form tapperd off after that little people patch

I don’t think he had a sulk. I think he was a 19 year old playing KPF and hit a bit of a form slump, which he ended up working through.

Nah, he didn’t.

Imagine the turbulence if he had kicked a goal IN the ‘main game’

To be honest, any Blitzer could have taken a spot in that Freo forward line after half time and probably kicked a goal.

It was a training drill for Fremantle.

Not a good read for the Voss clappers

Nic Nat saw red, and Merrett looked in fear for his life.

And that is the nail on the head.

To not even look at Voss in a senior role whilst Weiderman and Jones continually returned very poor performances is the main criticism.
