That he was an undersized key forward with poor hands was also a factor. Played 28 VFL games and averaged 4.4 marks/game. Never got more than 8 marks (which he managed twice).
And that said, I still wouldâve rather have him on the list than Weideman this seasonâŚ
lets not forget the â â â â show that is the vfl team (thatâs not meant as an offence to the guys who are down there, moreso the club and how theyâve run it) and itâs not as if voss was sitting in geelongâs afl forwardline and not doing it, he was getting those numbers with a patched up park footballers running around in the vfl side most weeks, no one in our forwardline down there was exactly setting the world on fire.
Hell caddy wasnât exactly kicking bags and taking a â â â â ton of marks this year down there, yet still got given a go based on future output.
pretty much they didnât like him cos he was a party boy, were never going to give him a go and see if they could tame that aspect of him if given an incentive to do so, they just saw him as a problem they didnât want to deal with.
We canât tolerate that â â â â .
Better clubs can, theyâve got high performance culture and they can manage a small group of blokes who perform and party.
Weâve clearly got a small core of the list who have AFL lifestyles and a large group that donât, the more we can do to build that small core the closer we are to getting out of the doldrums.
A fringe AFL player with bad lifestyle habits? Axe.
Tolerate what **** ?
having a surname same as the prikk who coaches fark carlton
So youâre saying we let a player on the level of May go?
Ffs.
I think if he can ever sort out his kicking for goal he can be a handy player (not great but useful). If he doesnât then he probably wonât have a long career.
probably not the biggest issue atm, heâs made a bunch of turnovers etc at critical moments
Lol. Where is he going?
He carried on so much almost felt like he kicked it.
that is sublime
Match winning goal assist too.
Should be playing for us.
Voss seems a really good âlocker roomâ guy, gets around everyone and good for morale. Celebrates team mates wins and efforts and heâs hard to dislike.
The fact Edwards broke into our side being signed 6 weeks earlier, youâd have to say Voss would be getting a gig for us right now.
Heâs no superstar but a good foil for Treacy and Amiss and always gives 100%.
He should of got an opportunity with us.
Ask Freo supporters what they think. He is horrendous.
Heâs gone for a reason, believed to be alcohol.
He does look pretty â â â â to be honest.
Yeah but we didnât even give him a go before we got rid of him - who knows what would happen!
The club also havenât given me a go as well. I have an alcohol problem too. Who knows what would happen!?!
