When it happens, we won’t be waiting until 6;20pm on selection night.
We’ll know well before that.
Just like they did with Alwyn Davey Jnr.
I thought he’d be selected for the GWS game.
If not this weekend, then maybe the game against Geelong after a short break from Anzac Day.
Is this the first time he’s been named an emergency?

Saw (somewhere) that Voss was the first named emergency, when not in number order. May not have meant anything but have got a feeling, including the cheering at training, it will be him in as sub. Otherwise Hobbs’ return I guess, hopefully either of those 2 though.

Makes sense. Spoke briefly to the dad of a VFL player my son had played junior footy with, after we watched him play (not Essendon). He said the coaches had a lot of base ‘role’ things they wanted to see, and getting the ball was the Cherry on top - but they wouldn’t actually care that much about it if those other things they were looking for weren’t in place. They might not be so obvious to a casual observer.
