And Charmichael is a 189cm tall mid that wins his own ball and at 22 has already developed an AFL body. Not to mention he knows where the goals are and doesn’t mind putting his body in harms way. Plus the nice 60m bomb goal showed he has a penetrating kick. Oh I forgot we have a policy of no mids over 183cm……

We don’t need any MSD mids though. We have some great talent in Caldwell, Hobbs and Archie we are struggling to give enough mid time too. We allready have some MSD level foot soldier mids in Durham, Guelfi and Snelling.
I hope we use pick 3 in the real draft on a gun mid but apart from that their are more pressing areas if the ground to address. A HBF and a small forward was good selections imo.

If it’s Dunkley or de Goey pass. Neither are leaders, De Goey massive flog that needs strong leadership to even get reasonable AFL performance and we have no body capable of leading him. Dunkley just a solid ball winning mid, nothing special and wouldn’t waste too much salary cap on….definite upgrade on Shiel so would probably accept Shiel out and him in on less coin.

Massimo is a good pick, rather than complaining as usual let’s try to appreciate we may have snagged the best kick of the footy outside of AFL level.
Much rather him than a mid who takes time off those mentioned above.
