Former Essendon and St Kilda defender Jake Carlisle has been caught up in an alleged second violent act in a local football game in 2026.
The 34-year-old will front the Riddell District League tribunal after he allegedly jumped a fence mid-game during a final at the weekend between Carlisle’s Wallan and Kyneton Football Club.
It is alleged that Carlisle was being abused by opposition supporters before he jumped the fence and allegedly slapped the culprit.
This is the second strange and violent incident Carlisle has found himself in at local level this season after he left Murray League club Moama mid-year following an alleged punch on during a game with a teammate.
