Four Vic Police killed by a truck on the Eastern Freeway

The accident that has caused my severe case a PCS and possibe ABI was the fault of someone from said region.

I needed this advice a couple of weeks ago before I drove up here for the first time! The car and I both survived so all good. Hope you’re keeping safe.

I know people are angry but I reckon this is a bit poor

Seems accurate to me. Everyone in Fitzroy rides a bike instead.

EDIT: ah, reference is to the truck driver? Educate me of the context?

His lawyer told the court that his client ā€œhas mental health issuesā€ā€¦

Probably not constructive and doesn’t apply to all (like any generalisation) but I’ve spoken to many people in the industry in the past who say the same and have told stories of them being flabbergasted about the inability of said cohort to perform basic manoeuvres. Often leading to questioning of how they acquired their license. Uncomfortable truth or just baseless bs? I don’t know.

Apparently this Pusey bloke arranged to attend at a police station at 9:30 this morning. Also made prior arrangements to provide his phone to police for the purposes of their inquiries. He handed over a different phone that had been wiped to factory settings and police had to execute a warrant on his home in order to find the real phone

He’s like Trump, except the law applies to him.

Maybe someone should inject him with disinfectant?

Whatever the semi driver’s medical condition, it was probably the hospital’s calll whether he would be fit to be interviewed ( and whether an interview would cause a deterioration in his medical condition).
Reportedly, the cops are trying to schedule an interview later today,

What a shame, Victoria has for the first time suspended juries in criminal trials in response to Covid-19 social distancing and so as not to prolong the time of those on remand,
Pusey would not fare well before a jury.

Should’ve sent in the Soggies before he had a chance to surrender himself.

Don’t think he’ll fare very well anyway.

10 years for me.

Maybe an accidental trip and a broken neck getting out of the court van?

I read the transcript of what he said while I was at work today.

I just…just lost for words. I had to walk out of the office and take a moment to compose myself.

I can’t even imagine the families reading that, listening to it in court.

It’s not often I’m lost for words, but this. Fark.

Suggestions that an ice pipe wasfound in the truck’s cab. If true, then that truck driver may well be in a world of hurt.

Admittedly, it came from the H/S headlines email.

9news just went with this as well.

Should never come out of jail if that’s the case.
