Got beaten badly by a team that’s 14th on the ladder.
-We’re not only weak but slow too.
-Watching this team just feels like we played against a saints outfit that’s playing with 20 guys on the field.
-No workrate.
-No pressure in the middle.
We really go to water when the opposition apply pressure. Their speed and running to space just killed us, couldnt handle it. Completely devoid of any confidence this side. This result today stings more than I can remember.
Couldnt win a centre clearance, couldnt lock the ball inside 50 at all.
Positives:-
. Zerrett’s tackling
. Hepp valiant all day
. Hooker, minus some kicking for goal
. That torture is finally over
Not many positives to take.
N’OB and Stein I dont think are up to it.
Persist with Kav for another couple of weeks, showed a little bit.
Jobe really down in his big game. We successfully farked another milestone game. Midfield smashed inside and out.
Same things crucifying us; decision making and ball use…horrendous
Saints were on all day, kicking them from everywhere…got sick of seeing white jumpers jusr queue up.
Congratulations afl/asada and wada…your plan of successfully farking us for many years has all but worked.
Before going off half-cocked in here, take a breather, enjoy your evening, settle it down. Shouting “sack Hird” is not thought out, let’s analyse how things can be picked up from here.
Left at three quarter time. Players neither committed nor skilled. Hibberd dropped head. Goddard yelling at players and not prepared to do the hard work. Word is that coaches are not working as a team. Have a seat on level 1 near interchange bench. Jobe definitely not 100%. NOB and Dempsey not up to it. Kavanagh needs another shot. Gleeson a poor decision maker. Cooney, Stanton cooked. Gwilt appalling.
All I can hope is that this is a catalyst for some serious list management changes come the end of the year. The club and this coaching group have been delusional about where we are for too long.
Bring in the kids is a silly thing to say, on the evidence ive seen of our kids they are no farken good!
This could very well be the issue. Aside from Langford and Laverde as it is too early, not a hell of a lot to get excited about outside of the young best 22 players (i.e Hepp, Joe, Zerrett).
Watson looks a shell of himself, either though fatigue, injury or father time. I’d put him in cotton wool and look towards 2016.
Heppell named captain.
Joe to be locked in a gym with The Rock from now until round 1.
Stein, NOB and Kav, you’re gone.
Dempsey to be fired out of a cannon, assuming he doesn’t rock up 300kgs overweight again and can fit into said cannon.
Bellchambers to be used as a drill bit on an off shore oil rig where he’ll fit in with the other drill bits that look strong but in reality are ripped apart under pressure.
Melksham to be named captain of a Div 4 Club 18s side.
Winders, Chapman and quite possibly Fletch should be retired.
Chase Charlie Dixon or even better, Tom Lynch.
Recruit a ■■■■■■■ small forward!
Langford and Laverde to play every game for the rest of the year.
