In the Tom Boyd trade article in the HS there is this paragraph or two...
"He will be at the four-day AFL draft camp starting on Tuesday, as will Perth teen Dayle Garlett.
Garlett was not in a fit state when he was to be interviewed by Port Adelaide last month, but is hopeful of presenting well in interviews with prospective clubs.
But the AFL believes Garlett has come a long way in 12 months, and is confident there is a club prepared to put the necessary support structures around the Swan Districts star."
I wonder not being in a fit state means - anyone know details?

Dunno. But anyone who requires a specific support structure is a bit of a worry.

Just like Dustin Martin. Right club might be able to fix it.

Michael quinn required specific support structures, as did paddy ryder
That’s a ■■■■■ report if the poor bugger has the flu or similar they report he was not in a fit state. Just at he has the flu not leave it open to rumor, unless of course he does has a massive hangover in which case Essendon took him out on the town to deflect other clubs interests…
Feels like we're reading way too much into a few snippets in one paragraph. "Not in a fit state" could mean a number of things and so could "support structures".
