Geelong match review

It’s weird. We are losing most games by around 10 goals, yet there are genuine positives to take from each game

The young players attitude is fantastic. They are carrying the team on field. They never stop from the first minute to the last. Watch out when they get some decent experienced players around them and a good coach who actually has a clue what he is doing

Vigo was a standout. Not just his work in the middle, but his 2nd efforts, fighting for ground balls. I did love him smashing his knee into a couple of cats players backs in marking contests

Sharp is an animal around the contest

Farrow is very clean

Prior- I reckon he will finish top 3 in the BnF. He is mr consistent

Caddy looked better than he has in weeks, just needs to work on grabbing the ball cleanly below his knees and his goal kicking

Some of the senior players are just a joke at this point

Why bring Caldwell straight back in when he has stunk it up all season?

Langford played one of the worst games I have ever seen from an Essendon player. He looked like he couldn’t care less either

If Gresham has a clause in his contract, as has been suggested here, it won’t happen.

But, Kako needs a big pre season because I’m pretty sure we’ll be bringing a couple of speedy, smart small forwards between now and the 2027 season start.

Langford opponent’s had like 3 touches. No problem with his game.

What pizza did you get?

Vigo looked good to the eye but scores from stoppages are a worry.

No pizza, went the lamb kofte. Fresh baked flat bread, lamb was juicy and well spiced, salad fresh. Was a huge plate for a snack sized meal. Their specially is their lamb pizza but decided against it. I got told I had high cholesterol so been watching that I’m eating and trying to cut down on cheese.

What’s the restaurant?

It’s called Pizzaland. Apparently a Geelong institution.

Yes it is. You need to be cheering these sorts of outcomes out loud and with passion!

Thanks I’ll check it out. Making my own pizzas these days but the other stuff sounds good

He also spent a lot of time on Neale and did perfectly adequately on him.

He should not be playing in a key defensive post whatsoever. It would be pretty ■■■■ being thrown to the wolves like that.

Gotta say I am enjoying listening to Solly’s post match pressers. No corporate speak and sounds very genuine

See that’s not so bad.

flogging lamb kofte at a pizza joint. They are either Brazilian or Lebanese by any chance?

Finally home. That was a long day!

I for one am anxiously awaiting this unexpected copaching announcement.

Thought Reid did a decent job on Neale. Johnson and Artemis were the weak links in defence.

We get their Turkish bread and dips occasionally. :pinched_fingers:

Highlight of the day was me getting permanently banned from Big Footy for daring to question the integrity of the Geelong admin. Suggested to Mutt that he shove his ■■■■■ in his own ■■■■.

71 tackles - the last couple of games with Scott they were doing 35 - 40 tackles. That to me is a good sign.
