Van Loon showed a bit in the back end of the year so losing her is a shame. Is she worth the 12 pick move up the draft?
If we are getting busy in trades today, it may just be a deal to leverage another deal.
Pick 35 has more trade currency than 47.
In 2022, I gave AshVanLoon an A (bumped up a bit for being a first year kid thrown on famous full towards, and coping pretty damn well).
In 2023 I gave her an F in the AFLW and an F- in the VFLW.
Decent this year, and given that F- it took a fair bit to win me back!
Clarke and Gay becoming league guns is probably about the level of this call. That, and someone liking Busch.
Lists of 30 continue to force some arbitrary calls (e.g. Wales going down arguably lost AshVanLoon her spot).

So, the reports are that a 3 club deal hasn’t been worked out yet.
Reportedly what we wanted was Emilia Yassir from the Tiggers and Pick 8 from the Aints, in exchange for Paige Scott to the Tiggers and Amber Clarke to the Aints.
Tiggers screwing things up because they want a pick from us as well.
Of course they want more from us but am more than happy to trade a two time AA for a packet of chips to Norf.
