Membership packet arrived today. Medallion thingy is nice. I really like the look of this year’s membership cap, but unfortunately yet again it’s a ‘pick up at home games only‘ thing, and Windy Hill is a fricking long way from where i live so probably I’ll miss out again. I mean, I’d be perfectly willing to pay postage if they’d only have the option of mailing the thing out…
If you want, I can pick it up on your behalf and send it onto you.
That’d be awesome if possible. What info would you need? In previous years there’s been a voucher or something sent along with the membership packet if i remember right, but I can’t find one this time around.
The code was emailed. I got my email on aug 5. Email subject “(Name), here’s how to redeem your 2025 AFLW member collection item”.
Hopefully that helps you find it.
Hmm, thanks. I did an email search but it seems I didn’t get the email. Might have got sorted to spam and deleted. I’ll drop the club a line and ask them to re-send.
Ex-VFLW Bomber Lavinia Cox had a quiet debut at Hawthorn – five touches, three inside 50s.
Lily-Rose Williamson named to play her first game for Collingwood this week
Hopefully she does well so isn’t available for the VFLW Grand Final.
Oh, and because she’s lovely… until she crosses the white line.
With all due respect, the AFL are square-headed dutchies.
The ball looked huge in her hands, but everyone agrees the smaller ball is much worse for kicking (smaller target to hit, shorter range, less stable in flight and more easily affected by wind at the more-open grounds they mostly have to deal with).
- Size 5 balls weigh ~465g
- Size 4 balls weigh ~370g
28 disposals and 3 goals was a decent return…
It still looks as though 6.5 to 7 wins will be what’s required by most teams to make the Final 8 although 7.5 wins would provide nearer certainty.
There’s about an 47% chance that 8th will be decided on percentages.
We still really want to win 6 of our first 6 games… they have us as most likely 8th place (45% chance of finals).
Geelong are pretty universal moderate favourites this week.
Three games in and the model assigns NM an 80% probability of a premiership.
Seems conservative to me. I’d have it like a 97% chance based on exposed form.
-17% for Garner risk
A post was merged into an existing topic: Welcome to Essendon AFLW - Maggie MacLachan (Injury Replacement)
We play Norf in 4 weeks…
Garner suffered a “high-grade” ligament injury to the outside of her left ankle after landing awkwardly in a marking contest against Walyalup, and has been ruled out for 2-4 weeks.
