Build the team around her. Everyone else is pretty much disposable.
There is quite some synergy between the men and women’s sides. A few years ago both men’s and women’s sides were better than Hawthorn. Fast forward 3 years and both Essendon men and women are ■■■■ still and both Hawthorn teams are top 4.
There is something fundamentally wrong with this club.
Graph was designed to ■■■■ on Nanscawen – she has a high handball proportion on a graph whose scale quietly gifts a 20% bonus to kicking efficiency.
A few players there are doing the opposite of what they are good at: including Prespakis, but especially Kiara Bowers with the highest kick proportion in this sample (73%) despite being 42% by foot and 73% by hand.
Eliza West the best example shown of playing to their strength.

Dan Lowther has been given the chop as Geelong AFLW coach after 5 seasons in charge.
- Bannister nominated for Most Courageous Player (results on Monday)
- Ridewood nominated for Best First Year Player (hint: she won’t win)
- Toogood/Cain and Prespakis/Queen/Princess nominated for best leaders and MVPs
- ADAMS Maclachlan Busch Alexander and MORCS get one-year extensions.
Brisbane/North Grand Final again, 3rd in a row. Need to find a way of evening up this lopsided competition.
Not only that. Brisbane in their 7th grand final out of 10 total!
Mick Stinear has stepped down as Melbourne AFLW coach after 10 seasons.
We should try lure him across to Essendon.
Really rate him as a coach. Although, he may have just had enough and wants to do other things.
Might be taking the Geelong job. Apparently lives on the surf coast so commuting to Casey would seriously suck.
Problem for us is, with the Geelong, Sydney and Melbourne jobs up for grabs (and possibly Tassie), all of them look better to anyone looking for a coaching gig, if we were to swing the axe now.
Crows job still not filled either
Ash Riddell (Norf) wins the League BnF by 3 votes, ahead of the other Prespakis.

Took until round 5, and the team imploding, for Riddell to pass G. Temporarily got back to the lead in round 8.
Ash Riddell no votes for a record-breaking 45 disposal game ![]()
Not everything can be about Garner.
The winner borrowed her jawline off Minnie Driver
