So… 16 months after you died seems an odd time to start paying attention?

Families of the members who passed were paying attention straight away but were deliberately ignored by CBus. Happy to take but not so when time to give.

A mate of mine was involved with the systems at Superpartners before they gave up and went to Link.

I always maintain to him that it was because of the ludicrously complicated handling of their insurance. If you were out of work for a month or two, they’d just suspend the member’s insurance rather than let the member’s balance fund the premiums. Never seen anyone else do that.

Link’s now been sold to a Japanese firm.

Only, what, 20 or 30 years too late?

War criminal and alleged sex offender happy in each other’s company.

He’s a creepy sick man. Known in social and political circles for a while that he had a penchant for young teens/men. He’s been arrested and no doubt will be questioned on a range of allegations. Following that he may be charged. How these high profile creeps get away with heinous crimes is beyond comprehension

It’s always about connections. Jones has always had high placed protectors. It’s a bit like the catholic church.

Also, in NSW at least, he had high ratings and was influential with the voters. Politicians who despised him still sought to go on his programs and the advertisers were doing well.
As he fell out of fashion and his ratings dropped, the form of protection as an influencer declined. He didn’t keep up with the emergence of social media influencers.
There was also the casting couch, a poor man’s Harvey Weinstein.

File under, “if only he’d done it to girls instead of boys like a proper, manly sex pest, he’d be in the running for first President of the Republic”. He should’ve taken the cloth, he’d be untouchable

Probably expected the cop to start stripping…assuming it was a male cop.

How long ago was he a schoolteacher?

Mate of mine used to work with the Rural Bank in NSW and went to a function with the Wallabies.

One of the forwards, an Argentinian from memory, was gently quizzed on the subject of Jones. He was very evasive in his response.

This may have been about the London public toilet adventure.

There should be charges against anyone who protects alleged pedophiles.

And in Jones case it might take some sort of royal commission.(or whatever the appropriate legal proceedings are to investigate politicians and other powerful people)

So our political circles ran a pedophile protection racket?

If you know and you stay silent isnt that some form of aiding and abetting?

Tell that to the Catholic Church and see if they can hold a straight face.

Theres a fair few employers in the mans history off the top of my head - depending on when are where he was allegedly sexually assaulting boys and young men.

Someone else should get done.

The simple fact is if Jones is a regular bum on the street he doesnt cause nowhere near as much (alleged) damage. There would have to be many people complicit in him being able to do what he is alleged to have done.

Thats how you stop this stuff.

Hopefully someone is onto his estate as well because you can probably bet your bottom dollar he is trying to hide that from victims.
