Who is this so-called UN leader? Trump refuses to take a call from the UNSG, withdraws from the WHO, trashes UNRWA, generally discounts any factual information from UN Institutions, exercises its UNSC veto selectively, withdraws funding of UN humanitarian agencies.
Yet it selectively cites UN institutional sources, plays politics within the IAEA, selectively penalises UN members who exercise their rights in UN decision making.

Reports coming out of Iran are that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will declare war with Israel sometime in the next hour.
Not surprisingly.
Got to admit I don’t really feel comfortable with the targeting of scientists in their homes (if true). Feels like a terrorist attack; i.e. if you participate in the nuclear program here is what we’ll do to you and your families.

If I worked in the Iranian nuke program as a scientist , and I heard that the US was suddenly emptying embassies and withdrawing military families from the region, I think I’d take a few Sickies and stay elsewhere for a little while.

Yep. Iraq in particular , being majority shia and already splintered , is likely to fall militantly on Iran’s side and the rest of the region will erupt in anti Israel positions.
This is on a knifes edge and the last two years more broadly have not helped.
